AMCOR Service Solutions expands its border and Mexico shelter manufacturing facilities
El Paso, Texas May 8, 2014 – Fairfield, New Jersey-based AMCOR Service Solutions has completed expansion of its El Paso and Ciudad Juarez facilities. The latter, operates under the auspices of the Tecma Group of Companies’ Mexico Shelter Manufacturing Partnership (MSMP), and in conjunction with its US distribution center in El Paso Texas.
From these sites, AMCOR serves customers from the USA and Mexico, as well as those across the Americas by providing depot repair, spare parts, and inventory and reverse logistics management services
In addition to its advantageous market position in the US, recent Customs changes and free trade agreements have given AMCOR a competitive edge that makes it easier and more economical to provide service to Mexico and Latin America directly from the Ciudad Juarez facility.
According to company president, Tom St. John, AMCOR “looks forward to expanding both its US and Latin American customer base, with the help of our Mexico shelter services provider, Tecma.”
