Tecma expands operations in Ciudad Juarez

Keeson, in alliance with Ergomotion and Tecma Group, inaugurated its first plant in Mexico, that will provide more than 600 jobs in the area.
Chris Yang, General Manager of Keeson indicated that the 30 million dollar investment in this operation located in the Juarez Industrial Center, corresponds only to the first stage; they expect to start the second phase no later than October 2021.
Mark Earley, President of The Tecma Group of Companies explained that Tecma will provide Keeson-Ergomotion all the administrative and legal services for the operation in Mexico, including hiring the personnel required for the production lines. “We are K-E’s legal entity in Mexico and will provide the building, the administrative support along with the personnel; we are starting with few workers, but the goal is to create more than 600 jobs in Juárez; this is only the beginning. There are currently two production lines, which will be expanded upon de arrival of more than 100 containers in the next few weeks”, Mark stated.
“The arrival of Keeson-Ergomotion to Juarez will be an important boost for the city’s economy, generating not only new jobs, but also impacting suppliers in the region. “Juárez continues to be the center of the maquiladora activity and that is what we see here. The business culture is very similar to that of the United States, and the fact that Mexican workers are the best, very focused and dedicated, pleased E-K” Mark Earley commented.
